Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Songcry account and what happens to your data when you do. It applies to the Songcry app on iOS and Android, published by Songcry, Inc.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open Songcry and go to your profile.

2. Open Account Settings.

3. Tap Delete Account.

4. Review the warning, tap Continue, and type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will be signed out immediately and will not be able to access the account again.

If you cannot access the app

Email support@songcry.app from the email address on your account with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify that the request came from the account owner and complete the deletion.

What is deleted

Your profile, your songs and other uploaded content, your photos and videos, your follows, likes, comments and hosting history, your fan ranking positions, and any documents you submitted for artist verification.

What is kept

We keep a limited record of the deletion itself for security and legal purposes, and aggregate statistics that no longer identify you. The full detail of what is retained and for how long is in our Privacy Policy at https://songcry.app/legal/privacy.
